POSITION HEAVLY FOCUSED ON 1099S, AP AND AR FUNCTIONS

The Accounting Manager will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. This person will manage the accounts payable and receivable function, payroll tax information, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.

The Accounting Manager will report to and work closely with the Director of Finance & Accounting and others in the organization in analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls.

Qualifications

• Manage Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables 

• Manage Billing functions for Accounts Receivables 

• Manage daily cash functions. 

• Develop and maintain a detailed cash flow forecast model to accurately project the company's cash inflows and outflows on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. 

• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. 

• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. 

• Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns. 

• Assist with quarterly and state tax payroll filings. Research/Approve/Process MultiState Payroll Taxes 

• Participate and lead integration projects.

• Oversee/Manage/Approve banking transactions. 

• Implement policies and procedures regarding Operations Accounting Functions 

• Mentor on-shore and off-shore team members

• Oversee yearly 1099 process. 

• Coordinate and assist in Month end close. 

• Account Reconciliations 

• Periodic testing to ensure all financial systems are accurate. 

• Protects the integrity of financial information by ensuring that the general ledger entries are correct. 

• Oversee monthly account reconciliations. 

• Facilitate monthly closing process. 

• Maintain and balances an automated consolidation system by verifying input data. 

• Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information. 

• Develop and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes. 

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. 

• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. 

• Coordinate with and supports accounting staff as needed. 

• Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Position Requirements 

Formal Education and Certification 

• College diploma or University degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant 

Knowledge and Experience 

• At least 3 years working experience as an Accounting Manager. 

• CPA is a plus. 

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases. 

• Ability to gather and analyze large amount of data. 

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations 

• High attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Ability to direct and supervise. 

• NetSuite experience a plus. 

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

• Knowledge of accounts payable and Receivable.

• Experience in payroll tax is a plus.
